A metal or silicone die etched with the lettering, pattern, logo, or image to be transferred is mounted on the hot stamping machine, with the workpiece to be decorated placed beneath it. The combination of heat and pressure causes the adhesive coating on the workpiece to melt, bonding with the foil to form a transfer that is both beautiful and long-lasting.
